3rd - Lloyd Park: A specimen of the Conopid fly (aka Thick-headed Fly) 'Sicus ferrugineus' photographed. This is endoparasitic on Bumble Bees, the female laying an egg on the abdomen of the bee while both in flight. The larva subsequently feeds inside the bee which dies when a pupa forms. (John Parish)
